As the COVID-19 situation worsens, the social and health care services of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area are increasingly busy. The call-back services of health stations also have long queues in Helsinki.

Use online services in non-urgent matters

If your have non-urgent business with us, please use the Omaolo(Link leads to external service) and Maisa(Link leads to external service) services, if possible.

If your business is about COVID-19, you can complete the symptom questionnaire on Omaolo (available 24 h). You can also book a COVID-19 testing appointment via Omaolo.

Non-urgent contact requests via Maisa are replied to within three business days, approximately. Maisa messages are saved into the customer and patient data system.

Please call our call-back services only once. Your phone number will be saved into our system, and we will call you back regarding non-urgent matters. Just wait for our call – we also return calls in the evenings and at weekends.

”Due to the COVID-19 situation, our phone services are extremely busy, unfortunately. If your matter is not urgent, we recommend you call your health station only after 10 in the morning,” says Medical Director of the health stations Jarja Ijäs.

When health stations are closed, the Medical Helpline helps with acute health issues

When health stations are closed, or you need urgent help while the call-back services are busy, please call the Medical Helpline, tel. 116 117 (available 24 h).

In life-threatening situations (e.g. intense chest pain, difficulty breathing, unconsciousness, paralysis symptoms, convulsions), call the emergency number 112.

The call-back services of health stations are available on weekdays at 8:00-15:00.
