Helsinki Upper Secondary School of Languages will start offering general upper On the English-language track, you study in accordance with the Finnish general upper secondary school curriculum. At the end of your studies, you will take the Finnish matriculation examination in English. The examination includes the matriculation examination test in mother tongue and literature, which is compulsory for everyone.
Students in English-language general upper secondary education complete it as the 'Finnish or Swedish as a second language and literature' examination test. You can take the matriculation examination in English for the first time in autumn 2028.
