The walk-in advisory service at the Itäkeskus office is closed from August 4, 2025, until further notice. We serve customers at our Malminkatu 34 office in Kamppi. Customers with appointments will be served at Itäkeskus until August 12, after which services continue at our Malminkatu and Viipurinkatu offices. The route to the main entrance

  • The 3 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors under 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.

  • The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.

The main entrance

  • The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
  • In connection with the entrance, there are 2 consecutive steps with handrails on one side.
  • The entrance has a steep ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on both sides.
  • The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with an opening button.

In the facility

  • The customer service point is located on floor 4.
  • Esteetön WC: ovessa on kaksi lukkoa. Oven saa auki vääntämällä ylempää lukkoa ja samanaikaisesti painamalla kahvaa. Oven avaaminen ei onnistu yhdellä kädellä. Lyhytkasvuisen henkilön ja pyörätuolia käyttävän henkilön kannalta lukko sijaitsee liian korkealla. Oven sisäpuolelta puuttuu vaakasuuntainen lankavedin, josta pyörätuolia käyttävä henkilö voi vetää oven perässään kiinni. Asiakaspalveluiden tiloissa on käytävien lattiapintaan tarrattu opasteita johtamaan hissille ja portaikkoon.
  • For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
  • The customer service point has directions to the different facilities.
  • The doors in the customer service point stand out clearly.
  • The waiting room of the customer service point has a queue number system and seats.
  • The customer service point has a toilet marked as accessible on floor 4. The toilet door cannot be easily opened and closed.
