Growth sectorsHelsinki is the top choice for businesses – a city that gives rise to world-class innovations and high-growth companies. Determined efforts will boost growth in selected sectors during the strategy period.
The Helsinki City Strategy has identified five growth sectors: the creative industries, the maritime cluster, circular economy in construction, the food sector and the health and wellbeing sector.
Our aim is to launch growth initiatives in as many of these growth sectors as possible during the strategy period, which will generate new business in Helsinki.
