Open invitation to a climate action-themed Sustainable Cities Discussion Forum

The third Sustainable Cities Discussion Forum will take place on Friday, 26 May, from 9.00 to 10.30. The theme of the event focusing on sustainable cities and the UN Agenda 2030 is SDG13: Climate Action. The event will be held in English.

Part of a discussion forum series by the City of Helsinki and the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER), this event is a joint effort with the Sustainability Science Days organised by Aalto University and the University of Helsinki Institute for Sustainability Science (HELSUS).

The speakers include a leading climate resilience researcher, Aditya Bahadur, and several other local, national and global-level experts.

The event will be co-hosted and opened by Kunal Sen, the Director of UNU-WIDER, and Juhana Vartiainen, the Mayor of Helsinki.
