Municipalities may apply for the grant and then redistribute the funding to local food aid operators. The funding can be allocated to operators that meet the state aid criteria and participate in the joint preparation to apply for the state grant. The grant is primarily intended for the direct costs of food aid activities organised by volunteers.
The City of Helsinki is now launching a joint preparation to apply for the state grant for organising food aid. Two information sessions with the same content will be organised on the joint preparation via Teams: on Tuesday 23 May from 17:00 to 18:00 and on Thursday 25 May from 13:00 to 14:00.

Those who have registered will be sent a participation link by email before the session. If you are unable to participate in the information sessions, you can also use the form to let us know if you would like to receive information on the joint preparation. The joint preparation will be continued with those who have registered using the form, so if you are interested in the grant application, it is important that you register using the form.
