The ‘Youth work action of the year’ award

The ‘Youth work action of the year’ award is given for an act, activity or project carried out during the previous year.

The winning project must have had a meaningful and positive impact on young people living in Helsinki in terms of their 

  • life
  • conditions
  • environment

The award may be presented to one of the following based in Helsinki: 

  • an association
  • a group
  • a private individual.

Use the form below to nominate the most important youth work action of 2025. You can submit your nomination between 27 April and 11 May 2026.

The ‘Youth work action of the year’ award -webform

The winner is chosen by the Youth Sub-committee of the Culture and Leisure Committee. The award of €5,000 will be presented during the national Youth Work Week in October.
