Explore the diverse nature of Kallahdenniemi with the help of information signs.
The Kallahti esker and the underwater shallows that emerged from it form a unique natural landscape. An underwater nature reserve, the first of its kind in Helsinki, was established in the area in 2019.
Along the 1.5-kilometer nature trail, there are seven information boards that describe the nature of the ridge area. In the protected beach meadow, movement is only allowed along paths to prevent damage to vegetation and to ensure the birds' feeding peace.
A part of the path running through the coastal meadow has to be closed at times.

The outdoor trail
- There are 6 parking spaces marked as accessible in the parking area. The information board about the nature trail is less than 50 m away. The parking area is asphalted.
- 150 meters from the parking area there is a portable outdoor toilet.
- The pick-up and drop-off area is located over 20 m from the information board.
- The nature trail is partly one-way, partly circular. The length of the route is about 1,5 km.
- The nature trail includes some difficult sections. However, you can also reach the tip of Kallahdenniemi via Kuningattarenpolku, which is wide and surfaced with stone dust.
- There are 7 information boards along the nature trail.
- There are signposts at central crossroads of the route. The route is marked with a logo or sign affixed to poles.
- The nature trail is partly soft and uneven. The surface of the passageway is in part fine crushed rock, gravel, stones and roots.
- The route is wide all the way, but otherwise not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
- Along the nature trail, there are and a rest stop with benches and tables for taking a break. The benches are sized for adults.
