Health check-ups for the unemployed

During a health check, we will examine your general state of health.

If you are an unemployed jobseeker, you are entitled to a health check for the unemployed.

Carry out a health check in the Omaolo service. You can start your health check by completing the digital Health Check in the Omaolo service, after which you can contact your health centre if necessary. Alternatively, you can contact your health station by phone.

In addition to the Omaolo service, you can request a referral from employment services for a remote health check-up at your health center, if necessary.  After a health check-up by a nurse, you will be referred to a doctor who will assess your work ability and functional capacity, if necessary. During the health check-up, you will be provided with a personal care or service plan.
Bring up your health in employment services if

  • it has been a long time since your previous health check-up
  • your are concerned about your health
  • your ability to work and rehabilitation needs should be determined.
