Helsinki residents can get the COVID-19 vaccination without an appointment at the pop-up vaccination point at Helsinki Central Station on Tuesday 7 September from 15:00–19:00. Only the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are administered at the pop-up vaccination point.

The vaccination point is located near the main entrance of the railway station and the Forex store.

There are a number of pop-up points all around Helsinki, including in the shopping centres of Hertsi and Tripla. Information on all pop-up vaccination points can be found on the constantly updated Pop-up vaccination points pages.

“The railway station is really centrally located and there are a lot of people passing through. On Tuesday 7 September, the railway station pop-up vaccination point will be open until 19:00, so you can get vaccinated on your way home from work,” says Medical Director of Health Stations Timo Lukkarinen.

The pop-up vaccination point at the railway station opened on Monday 6 September at 11:00.

“It's really nice that a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination point has opened in such a central location at the railway station. Here you can stop by for a vaccination during your lunch break, for example,” says Julia Oravainen, a nurse working at the pop-up vaccination point.

“I feel good now that I have received my first vaccine,” says a Helsinki resident who had their vaccination on Monday. The idea of the protection that comes with the second dose is starting to look appealing. “I will then dare to go to places where there are more people.”
