Omaolo now also supports oral wellbeing

This spring, Omaolo has introduced a symptom checker for dental care. You can complete the symptom checker if you have dental or oral symptoms or have suffered an injury in the dental or oral area.

The symptom checker will help you assess when you should seek treatment and the kind of treatment you may need. The service will also provide you with advice on how to treat the symptom yourself. When necessary, you can use the symptom checker to get in touch with a dental care professional during weekdays and a referral to the emergency clinic in the evenings and at weekends.

Typical oral area ailments that require urgent care include: strong and continuous pain that prevents you from sleeping, pain-related swelling and fever or difficulty opening your mouth.

“We are very pleased that Omaolo now also includes dental care. The oral health symptom checker will help our clients get to the source of reliable information faster. It will also streamline our customer service,” says Sebastian Kaste, Director of Oral Health Care Services at the City of Helsinki.

You can find the new oral health symptom checker on the Omaolo website:
