This year, the MIPIM event is expected to attract roughly 23,000 participants from more than 90 countries, an increase of 15 per cent from the previous year.

The theme of the Helsinki Finland stand is “Nordic Sense & Sustainability”. Mayor Juhana Vartiainen spoke at the stand’s opening on 14 March and also open the Finnish Property Breakfast event at the stand the following day. In addition, Vartiainen will participate in the Political Leaders’ Summit, where he will give an opening interview focusing on the challenging economic outlook and host a thematic discussion focusing on attracting investments.

Furthermore, Mayor Vartiainen will participate in panel discussions at the London and Riga stands. The theme of the discussion at the London stand is sustainable urban development and achieving the so-called net-zero goal. The discussion at the Riga stand, on the other hand, focuses on the future attractiveness of the Baltic Sea region.

In addition to these, Mayor Vartiainen is scheduled to have numerous meetings with mayors and other stakeholders from various cities during the event.
