Playground Lehdokki is located in the Itä-Pasila district with excellent transport connections. The indoor spaces are located on the ground floor of an apartment building at Kasöörinkatu 3. The outdoor play area is located by Pakkamestarinkatu 4. The outdoor play area is accessible.
The playground is a place where families with babies and children can play, exercise and meet each other around the year either indoors or outdoors. In addition to sandboxes, swings and various climbing frames, playground features:
- Paddling pool (in summer)
- Basketball hoop
- Baby changing table
Families with babies and children can meet other families at playgrounds, while children can find new friends to play with. Diverse and free-of-charge guided activities are organised at playgrounds in the mornings.
You can heat your own food and make coffee and tea at the playground. Our activities are free of charge and based on Helsinki's curriculum for early childhood education and care.

The route to the playground area
- There are no accessible parking spaces near the playground. The nearest parking area is located over 100 meters from the place.
- Kumpulantien varrella mahdollisuus kadunvarsipysäköintiin. Pysäköintitalo Veturi noin 500 metrin päässä.
- The pick-up and drop-off area is located under 5 meters from the playground gate.
- A smooth and sufficiently wide asphalted route leads to the playground gate. The route is illuminated.
Playground area
- The playground has an information board that can be accessed by a wheelchair. The information board can also be looked at up close.

- The playground has benches and tables that are wheelchair accessible. Some of the benches have been designed for children's dimensions.
- The playground has swings, a slide, a sandbox, a canopy, a climbing frame, a climbing wall, a ball wall, a wading pool.
- The swings: The swings are situated at the edge of the area. There is a rope fence around the swing area and a bench for an adult nearby. A wet pour rubber safety surface has been installed under the swings. The play area also has a safety swing for a small child, spring riders.
- The slide: There is space for a wheelchair around the slide and a bench for an adult nearby. A wet pour rubber safety surface has been installed under the slide. The slide can be accessed via the stairs, a ladder.
- The sandbox: The edge of the sandbox is too low for wheelchair access. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
- The canopy: The entrance to the canopy is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. There are no tables or benches under the canopy.
- The climbing frame: Safety sand has been installed under the climbing frame.
- The climbing wall: A wet pour rubber safety surface has been installed under the climbing wall. Part of the climbing wall is at an angle so people can also climb in a traverse direction.
- The ball wall: There is safety sand in front of the wall.
- The raised edge of the wading pool makes it wheelchair accessible. The bottom of the wading pool is smooth. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
Playground building
- The entrance of the playground building is located in a recess and is illuminated.

- The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
- The activities take place on the entrance floor.
- The doors in the facility are hard to perceive. The glass doors have contrast markings.
- The facility has an accessible toilet.
