The route to the playground area

• There are no accessible parking spaces near the playground. The nearest parking area is located over 50 meters from the place.
• The pick-up and drop-off area is located under 10 meters from the playground gate.
• A smooth and sufficiently wide tiled route leads to the playground gate. The route is illuminated.

Playground area

• The playground is surrounded by a metal fence. Inside the fence there are no special walkways. The entire play area is illuminated.
• The playground has an information board that can be accessed by a wheelchair. The information board can also be looked at up close.
• The playground has tables and benches with free space at the end for a wheelchair or stroller.
• The playground has swings, a slide, a sandbox, a climbing frame, a bicycle roundabout, a ball wall, a wading pool.
• The swings: The swings are situated at the edge of the area. There is a bench for an adult near the swings. Safety mulch has been installed under the swings. The play area also has a safety swing for a small child.
• The slide: There is space for a wheelchair around the slide and a bench for an adult nearby. Safety mulch has been installed under the slide. The slide can be accessed via the stairs, a net, a ladder. The play area also has a wider slide that an adult and child can slide down together.
• The sandbox: The edge of the sandbox is high enough off the ground to make the sandbox wheelchair accessible. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
• The climbing frame: Safety mulch has been installed under the climbing frame. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
• The bicycle roundabout: The bicycle roundabout is situated at the edge of the area. Artificial grass has been installed under the bicycle roundabout.
• The ball wall: There is safety sand in front of the wall. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
• The edges of the wading pool are at ground level. The bottom of the wading pool is smooth. There is a bench for an adult nearby.

Playground building

• The entrance of the playground building stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
• The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
• The activities take place on the entrance floor.
• The doors in the facility stand out clearly.
• The facility has an accessible toilet.
