The route to the playground area

• There are no accessible parking spaces near the playground. The nearest parking area is within 20 metres.
• The pick-up and drop-off area is located under 5 meters from the playground gate.
• A smooth and sufficiently wide fine crushed rock or sand route leads to the playground gate.
• The passage has at least 4 steps.
• The route has a ramp under 6 meters long.

Playground area

• The playground is surrounded by a metal fence. Inside the fence there are asphalt-surfaced walkways. The entire play area is illuminated.
• The playground has an information board that can be accessed by a wheelchair. The information board can also be looked at up close.
• In the playground, the walkway has at least 4 steps.
• In the playground, the walkway has a ramp under 6 meters long.
• The playground has tables and benches with free space at the end for a wheelchair or stroller.
• The playground has swings, a slide, a sandbox, a canopy, a climbing frame.
• The swings: The swings are situated at the edge of the areaA wet pour rubber safety surface has been installed under the swings. The play area also has a safety swing for a small child, a saucer swing.
• The slide: There is space for a wheelchair around the slide. .Safety sand has been installed under the slide. The slide can be accessed along the stairs. The play area also has a wider slide that an adult and child can slide down together.
• The sandbox: The edge of the sandbox is too low for wheelchair access.
• The canopy: The entrance to the canopy is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. There are no tables or benches under the canopy.
• The climbing frame: Safety sand has been installed under the climbing frame.

Playground building

• The entrance of the playground building stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
• In connection with the entrance, there are at least 4 steps.
• The entrance has a ramp under 6 meters long.
• The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
• The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
• The activities take place on the entrance floor.
• The facility has thresholds over 2 cm high.
• The doors in the facility are hard to perceive.
• The facility has a toilet marked as accessible. The door is too narrow.
