This location provides activities in Finnish.

After-school activities in basic education are organised after the school day for 1st- and 2nd-graders and pupils requiring special-needs support. The application period for the activities is in the spring. First-graders and pupils requiring special-needs support are given priority in the allocation of places.

After-school activities provide the child with meaningful activities after the school day in a safe environment, at school or near the school. The activities include playing and spending time with peers, daily outdoor activities and exercise, as well as small excursions to the surrounding area.

After-school activities are subject to a fee, which includes a snack and insurance. The monthly fee is EUR 100 for activities ending at 16.00 and EUR 120 for activities ending at 17.00. You can apply for reduction of or exemption from the fee based on your income.

The route to the main entrance

  • The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens easily manually.

In the facility

  • The prayer room is on the entrance floor.
  • The prayer room has directions to the different facilities.
  • The prayer room is equipped with a microphone and PA system, as well as a fixed induction loop. The area where the induction loop works is marked on the coverage map as well as with a symbol.
  • The seating area features 12 accessible spots suitable for a wheelchair, which are located at the front of the prayer room. The accessible spots are easy to access. Separate chairs are available in addition to the fixed benches.
  • The furniture in the prayer room is highlighted from the floor with contrast.
  • We also have hymnbooks in large print and in Braille.
  • An accessible toilet is located in connection with the prayer room.

Altar

  • The parish facilities are located in the same building as the prayer room, but with a separate entrance.
  • The route to the parish facilities is guided, narrow and illuminated.
  • The parish facility entrance is located in a recess and is illuminated.
  • The doors to the parish facilities stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens easily manually.
  • The parish facility entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
  • The parish facilities are on floor 1.
  • For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift cannot be felt with fingers. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
