Linguajoy offers warm and inspiring afternoon activities for pupils in grades 1-2, as well as for pupils with an official decision on learning support at Katajanokan ala-asteen koulu. We are an approved service provider for the City of Helsinki, and our activities are part of the city's official afternoon programme for basic education.
With us, children's afternoons are filled with joy, creativity, and safe togetherness - all comfortably within the school's own indoor facilities. Our daily programme includes a variety of indoor physical activities, homework time, fun games and play, music, art and science projects, excursions, relaxing rest moments and language and culture tasters. We also go outdoors twice a day, but every child has time to enjoy activities at their own pace in our warm and welcoming indoor environment.
Linguajoy's inspiring, English-enriched programme brings excitement and learning into everyday life, though participating fully in Finnish is equally welcome. A tasty afternoon snack is also provided.
All children are covered by the City of Helsinki's group accident insurance, which reimburses medical expenses within public healthcare.
