The Education Division of the City of Helsinki will organize regional parents’ evenings for all parents of children and young people in Helsinki in early 2023. At the parents’ evenings, the guardians will attend brainstorming sessions about the school and education in the Helsinki of the future.
The events are a continuation of the parents’ evening for the whole of Helsinki organized in October 2022, in which a large number of guardians participated. The parents’ evenings are related to the strategic Education 2030 work in the field of education. The Education 2030 vision has been drafted by involving learners and staff. At the parents’ evenings, guardians will also have the opportunity to participate in the preparation of the Education 2030 vision. The goal is to come up with ideas about the school of the future and to think about the kind of challenges that need to be addressed to achieve the school of our dreams.
You will find the times and places of the events below. You can participate in the events in Finnish, Swedish and English. There is an advance registration for the events, which will end one week before the event.
