Senior centres, service houses and care homes can be visited without time limits from 11 February. There can be up to two visitors at a time. You can visit a friend or relative once a day.

Please always schedule your visit in advance with an employee of the unit caring for your loved one no later than on the day preceding the intended visit.

All visitors will be given a surgical mask for their visit, which must be worn for the duration of the visit. The nurses can provide instructions on the use of the mask. Please pay special attention to good hand hygiene. Please remember to maintain a sufficiently safe distance from your relative/friend and other residents. Please only come for a visit if you are healthy.

If you have been travelling abroad, before visiting please check the instructions on the website for the National Institute for Health and Welfare: Travel and the coronavirus pandemic(Link leads to external service)

The time limit for the visits that is now lifted was in effect from 31 December. The time limit was established due to the more severe corona situation.
