Lotta Staffans becomes Special Adviser to Deputy Mayor Arhinmäki

Helsinki Deputy Mayor for Culture and Leisure Paavo Arhinmäki has invited Lotta Staffans to become his special adviser.

Helsinki Deputy Mayor for Culture and Leisure Paavo Arhinmäki has invited Lotta Staffans to become his special adviser.

Staffans (38) joins the city of Helsinki from the Left Alliance parliamentary group, where she worked as parliamentary advisor of economic policy. She has previously worked, among other things, as the executive director for Pro Ethical Trade Finland and in Brussels as Policy and Advocacy Officer for the Eurodad network.

Staffans, who lives in Kontula, holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Åbo Akademi and a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics. She will start her job on 1 September 2021.
