Akseli Leinonen’s artwork Litorinameren kalastajat (Fishers of the Litorina Sea) will be finalised during April, when a third boat is erected in Atlantinaukio.
Two of the three boats that make up Aleksi Leinonen's artwork were installed in Madeiranaukio in 2024, and the next step will be to install the final part of the work, after which the whole work will be complete.
The finished work will become part of the City of Helsinki's art collection, which is managed by HAM Helsinki Art Museum.
The contractor is Silvertek Oy.
