Track the progress of your pregnancy in Maisa

Helsinki, Vantaa and Kerava are introducing a new feature in Maisa for tracking the progress of pregnancy. The feature brings together all your antenatal appointments, tasks, surveys and guidance in a single view in Maisa.

The pregnancy tracking feature provides you with access to up-to-date guidance, surveys and reminders at different stages of your pregnancy. It also brings together, in a single view, the details and dates of all appointments relating to your pregnancy, from your first maternity and child health clinic visit right through to your postnatal check-up. The tracking feature shows visits to both maternity clinics and HUS specialised health care services.

“The pregnancy tracking feature allows you to familiarise yourself with the content of your upcoming maternity clinic appointments in advance and think about questions that you want to ask during their clinic appointments,” says Manager of Helsinki’s Maternity and Child Health Clinic Monica Lindberg.

As your pregnancy progresses, the tasks that become available in Maisa will guide you through the latest advice, help you complete surveys and ensure that you book any necessary appointments. For example, you can respond to the survey about your upcoming birth online in Maisa, in which case your responses will be sent directly to healthcare professionals.

The tracking feature opens automatically in Maisa

The Pregnancy tracking feature opens automatically in the Care Journeys section of Maisa once you have notified a maternity and child health clinic of your pregnancy and a healthcare professional has recorded the pregnancy in your records. A person acting on your behalf will also be able to access the tracking feature if you have granted them the necessary authorisation to act on your behalf in Maisa.

The tracking feature is available in Finnish, Swedish or English, depending on the language selected in Maisa.

We are developing our digital services

The pregnancy tracking feature is part of a comprehensive digital services reform currently underway in Helsinki’s health and social services. The aim of the reform is to develop our digital service channels to ensure that Helsinki residents can access our services as smoothly as possible. At the same time, we are providing our staff with new tools to make their everyday work easier.
