Seasonal lights are starting to appear here and there in the street scene, and on store shelves, we can already spot Christmas sweets. But the surest sign that the holiday season is approaching is Arbis' traditional Christmas Eve Julvaka. This year, the absolute highlight of the pre-Christmas season will take place on Friday, 1 December, from 16.00 to 20.00 at Arbis on Dagmarinkatu 3, Helsinki.
During the Julvaka the house will be filled with various Christmas workshops where you can create gifts for the whole family or just for your own joy. The programme includes over 20 workshops, including wreath-making, Christmas tree ornaments and Christmas oranges, baking gingerbread biscuits, making silver jewellery and beeswax candles, and much, much more. We also offer a cosy Christmas concert for the whole family.
The material fee for most workshops is between 1–5 euros and can be paid in cash or with MobilePay. Some of the workshops are free.
