At the request of residents, Aino Acktén puisto park will be equipped with illuminated fitness stairs as an OmaStadi project.
Work on the stairs will start in early December and last until the end of March 2026.
Four small rowan trees will be removed and five cherry trees will be planted as part of the construction project.
The park path above the stairs will be closed due to the construction work. For safety reasons, the sledding hill next to the work area will also be closed.
The contractor is Uudenmaan Infrapalvelut Oy.
