The City of Helsinki Education Division will transfer all of its telephone subscriptions to a new service provider between 12 and 15 May 2025. The change in telephone operators pertains to the phone numbers for the City of Helsinki’s playgrounds, daycare centres, comprehensive schools, general upper secondary schools, Helsinki Vocational College and Adult Institute (Stadin AO), Helsinki Finnish Adult Education Centre, Helsinki Swedish Adult Education Centre (Arbis), and the Education Division’s shared services. The transfer will be implemented according to the following schedule:
- 12 May: Playgrounds and Finnish-language daycare centres
- 13 May: Finnish-language general upper secondary schools, Stadin AO and Helsinki Finnish Adult Education Centre
- 14 May: Finnish-language comprehensive schools
- 15 May: Swedish-language daycare centres, comprehensive schools and general upper secondary schools, Arbis and the Education Division’s shared services
Websites and e-services will function normally.
