Appointment bookings for a fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccination have been opened for severely immunocompromised individuals 12-years-old and above.

Appointment bookings for a fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccination have been opened for severely immunocompromised individuals 12-years-old and above. The fastest way to make a vaccination appointment is via bookcovidvaccine.fi(Link leads to external service). You can also book an appointment by call-ing 09 310 46300 (Mon-Fri 8:00-16:00).

The fourth dose is only available by appointment and can be given 3–4 months after the third dose.

The fourth doses are given at Helsinki vaccination points. See the locations and opening hours of vaccination points at www.hel.fi/vaccination.

Severely immunocompromised

Severely immunocompromised persons are those with the following disease or condition:

  • Organ transplant
  • Stem cell transplantation
  • Severe to moderate congenital immunodeficiency
  • Immunosuppressive cancer treatment
  • Treatment of autoimmune diseases with immunosuppressive biologics or JAK inhibitors
  • Dialysis and severe chronic renal failure
  • Advanced or untreated HIV
  • Other severe immunosuppressive conditions as evaluated by a doctor

    Congestion when booking an appointment

    The phone appointment booking uses a call-back service. There is currently a delay of several days in the callback. Call only once, and wait for a callback.
