The finishing touches are being put on the modernisation of Crusell Bridge. The most visible part, the paving of the bridge, will be carried out during the week beginning on 28 April.
During the paving work, traffic control will be in place on the bridge, as only one lane will be open to motor vehicles traveling in both directions. The paving will be carried out in three different stages, meaning that the traffic arrangements will change as the work progresses. The work will mainly be carried out between 7:00 and 16:00.
The renovation of Crusell Bridge, which connects the districts of Jätkäsaari and Ruoholahti, included repairing the bridge’s pylon and replacing the bridge’s surface structures and the waterproofing of the deck. The actual modernisation work was completed in late autumn 2024.
