The Rahakamarinkatu property in West Pasila is now open for applications

The renovation project in West Pasila is located at Rahakamarinkatu 1. The estimated completion date for the renovation project is August 31.

The application period has begun, and selections will be made as long as there are apartments available. You can add your desired apartments directly to your application. If you already have a valid apartment application, you can add apartments to your application by editing it. You can also view the apartments on Oikotie.fi(Link leads to external service) (in Finnish).

Completed in 1986, the property is undergoing a comprehensive renovation, which will be completed in the summer of 2026. Once the renovation is complete, the apartments will be like new. In addition, the renovation will improve the buildings’ technical systems, energy efficiency, and accessibility, as well as refurbish the residents’ common areas, facades, and courtyard areas.

The two buildings in the complex have 4–7 stories and five stairwells, three of which (B, C, and D) are equipped with elevators to make daily life easier. The development’s 62 apartments cater to a variety of living needs: apartment sizes range from cozy 31-square-meter studios to spacious 90-square-meter family apartments.

Länsi-Pasila is an urban and diverse residential area where nature and comprehensive services are close by. The area has good transportation connections as well as excellent opportunities for exercise and leisure activities. Local services in Länsi-Pasila are comprehensive. Everyday essentials and even larger purchases can be taken care of at the Tripla shopping center, located about half a kilometer away. The area is also ideal for families with children. Pasila Comprehensive School is about 400 meters from Rahakamarinkatu, and there are several daycare centers in the neighborhood.

Tapulikaupunki property nears completion of extensive renovation

In Tapulikaupunki, the renovation of Heka’s property at Käsityöläisentie 14 is nearing completion. The estimated completion date for the renovation project is August 31.

The application period for the apartments begins on May 26, at which time some of the apartments will also be available on the Oikotie service. You can apply for apartments starting May 26 by filling out an apartment application. If you have a valid housing application, you can add apartments to your application by editing it once the application period begins. Tenant selection for the development will begin immediately upon the start of the application period and will continue as long as apartments remain available.

In the comprehensive renovation of the buildings located at Käsityöläisentie 14 D, Käsityöläisentie 9 H, and Käsityöläisentie 9 I, the apartments will be renovated to be as good as new. At the same time, the residents’ common areas, facades, and courtyards will be renovated, and the buildings’ energy efficiency and building services will be improved. The renovated buildings have elevators, and every apartment has a balcony.

Käsityöläisentie 14 is located near services and excellent transportation connections. A local grocery store is about 400 meters away, and a health center and pharmacy are just a few hundred meters away. The neighborhood also features the Tapulikaupunki Library, the Tapulikaupunki Youth Center, and playground Tapuli. Right near Käsityöläisentie, you’ll also find Maatulli Comprehensive School and several daycare centers. It is about a 300-meter walk from Käsityöläisentie to Puistola railway station, from where you can take a train to downtown Helsinki, Tikkurila, and the airport. The area has good bus connections to downtown Helsinki, Malmi, Tapanila, and Tikkurila.
