US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken will visit Helsinki City Hall on Friday, 2 June as part of his visit to Finland.
Blinken is scheduled to deliver a speech at an invitation-only event that is being arranged by the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA), in cooperation with the US Embassy in Finland and supported by the City of Helsinki. The event will be streamed live.
The topic of US Secretary of State Blinken’s address will be Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine. It will be possible to follow his speech at 11.45 on the YouTube channel of the US State Department of State.
Blinken is scheduled to visit Finland on 1-2 June 2023. During the visit, he will also meet with Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin and Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto.
The Helsinki City Hall will be closed on Friday due to the visit.
