Persons going abroad for work or studies to be offered unused coronavirus vaccines

News about corona vaccinations for persons going abroad for work or studies.

The City of Helsinki is about to begin administering unused COVID-19 vaccines to persons going abroad for work or studies. The vaccines will be offered to Helsinki residents who need a booster shot at an accelerated schedule due to exchange studies or a work assignment abroad. Family members aged 16 and over who will be travelling with the person in question may also be able to receive the booster vaccine at an accelerated schedule.

To get the vaccine, you must register for the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list. Eligibility for the waiting list requires the student exchange or work assignment to last at least three months. Those travelling for leisure are not accepted on the waiting list.

It is not possible to choose the vaccination appointment time. There are as many vaccines available daily as left unused. The vaccines can be offered to persons on short notice. The call regarding the vaccination will come from a phone number beginning with 09 310.
