At Vuosaari and Kalasatama health and wellbeing centres, you can monitor your health quickly and reliably as a self-service provision. You can find the self-measurement stations in the entrance halls on the 1st floor.
Self-measurement stations allow you to take comprehensive health measurements and, if you wish, complete the Omaolo digital health check. The health check will give you a comprehensive report on your lifestyle and tips on how to improve it.
The idea is that the client visit a self-measurement station and get an overview of their health status quickly and easily and, if necessary, contact healthcare services. According to Chief Nursing Officer Meeri Mustonen at Kalasatama Health Station, healthcare workers save working time when measurements and health check-ups are carried out before contacting the health care services.
Taking the measurements should take about five minutes. You can take them without authentication and you will receive the results immediately as a printout. After the measurements, you can proceed to the digital health check, which should take about 20 minutes. If you want to save your answers or contact your health care provider, you will need strong authentication tools, such as online banking credentials or a mobile certificate.
