Flowers and fitness equipment for Dallapé park

Outdoor exercise equipment freely available for the use of residents will be installed at the southern end of the Dallapé park square. The comfort of the park corridor on Teollisuuskatu will be increased by planting summer flowers and installing hanging summer flower planters on the lampposts in the area. The aim is to create a more pleasant route for residents by increasing the greenery and improving the cleanliness of the area. The number of rubbish bins in the park will be reviewed and the protective fences around plantings will be refurbished.

Kinaporinpuisto park lighting and park surroundings renewed

The illumination of the vine arches in Kinaporinpuisto park will be enhanced with mood lighting, which will also improve the brightness and comfort of the area in the evenings. Attention has been paid to lighting in both parks to increase the sense of security for residents.

At the eastern end of the park, two park swings will be added along the path parallel to Kinaporinkatu. The rock dust paths will be restored and the western corner of the park will be improved by adding different surface materials, such as sand and tree trunks, to enhance the biodiversity of the park environment. The new area will form a small detour route for dog walkers, for example. In addition to this, the perennial plantings along the western route will be restored and the protective fences around plantings will be replaced in both parks.

Measures to improve the comfort of the parks will be implemented during 2026 and the area will continue to be developed in the future.
