The course guides for Työväenopisto and Arbis will become a thing of the past

The traditional printed course guide for autumn courses at the Helsinki Finnish Adult Education Centre and Arbis will be a thing of the past. All courses and the related up-to-date information were published on 1 June on the ilmonet.fi website, where you can browse, view and bookmark them in advance. Registration starts on Monday 10 August.

The change is driven by a desire to make access to information more convenient and environmentally friendly. The Ilmonet.fi website allows us to provide our customers with information that is always up to date. At the same time, we can reduce the environmental impact associated with the production of printed guides.

Use Ilmonet to search, register and pay for and cancel courses

Ilmonet has many filters to refine your course search. To filter your search, click on the plus sign on the bar on the left-hand side of the page. Clicking on the plus sign will reveal more search criteria. First, you select an institute and location and, if you wish, you can refine your search using the teaching language, time, type and target audience menus.

In addition to this, Ilmonet also has all sorts of handy features, such as quick searches: what’s new, last minute registration, free spaces and ongoing courses.

Clear instructions for using the ilmonet.fi website

If you need help with how to use the website, you can watch a YouTube video on the Helsinki Finnish Adult Education Centre and Arbis websites for detailed instructions. The video shows how to apply for courses, register, pay and cancel your participation on ilmonet.fi. The customer service will also be happy to help you if you need assistance with registration.
