The premises available for rent consist of the lobby of the personal service building (Parrukatu 1-3) used by the staff, as well as the halls and cabinets on the second floor that are suitable for use as office space or for banquets or filming. The premises are rented to one tenant at a time. The current maximum number of users is 60, but a change of the intended use of the premises is underway to increase the number of users.
The minimum lease period is one day. The rent is subject to the City's decision on the prices of short-term rentals. For example, the rent of the premises excluding VAT is €1,500 for one day and €2,300 for one week. The monthly rent is €10 per square metre.

Hanasaari opens to the public
The last industrial area in the Helsinki inner city will open to the public on Helsinki Day, 12 June. The first building to be rented is the personal service building. So far it will be available for short-term rental until further notice.
The power plant is now closed and possibilities for temporary use are being explored.H

Construction of a new district will start in the 2030s
In the future, a new residentially focused district will be built in Hanasaari. An international idea and implementation competition will be held for the site; a detailed plan will be drawn up based on the competition. Construction is expected to start in the early 2030s at the earliest.
Before construction starts, a period of experimentation of at least five years will be held, during which the area can be used by citizens. The City is using the Kerrokantasi survey to collect the wishes of its residents on matters such as what kind of activities they want to see in the area.
