Application period begins for newly renovated Heka subsidised apartments in Jakomäki

Heka’s renovated apartments at Louhikkotie 20A in Jakomäki will be completed in June 2026. The estimated completion date for the first phase of apartments is June 30, 2026. During the first phase of the renovation, apartments of various sizes will be completed at the site, with the majority being one- and two-bedroom units.

The application period has begun, and tenant selections will be made as long as there are apartments available. You can add your desired apartments directly to your application. The property is being renovated in phases

The location consists of a total of 11 buildings. The apartment buildings, completed between 1967 and 1969, contain a total of 557 apartments. The buildings offer apartments of various sizes, ranging from studios to five-room family apartments. The majority of the apartments are two- and three-bedroom units. The complex is being renovated in phases, and the renovation of the buildings on Jakomäentie were first to complete in the fall of 2023. The building at Louhikkotie 20A will be completed in the summer of 2026, and the renovation of the buildings at Louhikkotie 20B and 20C is estimated to be completed in the fall of 2027.

During the renovation, all apartments will be refurbished to like-new condition. At the same time, the facades, courtyards, and common areas will be renovated, and building services and energy efficiency will be improved. After the renovation, the apartments will have a light, airy appearance. The apartments feature easy-to-maintain vinyl plank flooring. Kitchens are equipped with a fridge-freezer, an induction cooktop, an oven, ample storage space, and provisions for a dishwasher and microwave. All apartments have a glassed-in balcony.
