E-services

On the https://asiointi.hel.fi pages, you can use the electronic services of the City of Helsinki. You can for example fill out and send electronic applications and forms and enrol for courses.

The e-services website has been integrated with the rest of the Hel.fi website. It is now possible to sign in to the e-services through the "Sign in" link in the bar at the top of the Hel.fi website.

The electronic services of different administrative departments can be reached safely by a single login, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The service is provided in Finnish, Swedish, and English.

Get to know the service

A separate description page is provided for each service.

The description page contains information about the following matters:

  • who the service is aimed at
  • conditions of using the service
  • processing time
  • department providing the service

You can enter the electronic service from the description page.
The link "Go to the e-service" is located at the bottom of the page.

On the description page, there are also links to further information and printable forms. In addition, the page contains a link to the feedback form of the relevant department.

With some electronic services, you may need to contact the department in question before you can use their electronic services.

Using the services require that your browser has JavaScript turned on.

Use the e-services

After signing in, you can use the e-services.
You may, for instance, fill out an application or a course enrolment form and send it.

Some of the services require you to contact the department in question before making electronic transactions. The use of some services may be limited in some other way. The conditions for the use of any particular service are listed on the service’s description page.

Personal e-services folder

As you sign in to the service, you are given a personal e-services folder. From this folder, you can see how many transactions or messages have been saved there in the last 30 days. Most transactions, such as sent applications, drafts, messages, decisions and supplements, will be saved in your personal folder.

There are, however, some transactions that will not be saved in your folder. More information on this is provided on each service's description page. From there you can see whether the information related to said service will be saved in your personal folder.

My profile

You will get an email notification or a text message of all the transactions in your personal e-services folder. The e-services system sends notifications on the hour from 9:00 to 20:00.

At the e-services site, asiointi.hel.fi, the customer can add a mobile phone number to his or her own profile, choose notification method (e-mail and/or text message) and the notification language (Finnish, Swedish or English).

You can change your email address or mobile phone number on the My profile page.
