Ruohola Group Home

We offer housing services to Helsinki residents with disabilities.

Nestled on the second floor of an apartment building in Ruoholahti, you'll find Ruohola Group Home. Within this group home, we offer service housing for five adults living with developmental disabilities. Additionally, two transitional apartments, each comprising one bedroom, are located in the same building as the group home. Our staff provides essential support to the residents of these transitional apartments, ensuring their needs are met while fostering independent living.

The residents of our group home actively participate in various work activities throughout different parts of the city on a daily basis. During the mornings, the group home operates without staff. Our residents are encouraged to independently prepare breakfast with what they have at home before heading to work.

Upon their return from work, our staff members prepare dinner for the residents and offer the necessary support and guidance, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
