Renovation of Lauttasaari Comprehensive School approved

 

The City Council approved a project plan for a renovation of the Lauttasaari Comprehensive School (lower grades) on November 28th. The maximum cost of the renovation project can be 22,200,000 euros at the May 2018 cost level.

 

The City Council also decided on the winner of the architectural and implementation competition for the Central Pasila (Keski-Pasila) high-rise area and the handover of the construction sites. The winner of the competition is the construction company YIT Rakennus Oy with its design named Trigoni. The Council also made decisions on alterations to the detailed plan for Kulosaarentie 42-44. The alterations will enable in-fill residential construction on a small scale.

 

The City Council carried on an extensive discussion on initiatives, considering three group initiatives and a large number of initiatives from City Councillors.
