The coronavirus outbreak this spring has asked a great deal from the residents of Helsinki and the city’s over 40,000 employees. Though infection rates have improved, the crisis is likely far from over.
Mayor of Helsinki Jan Vapaavuori joined the city’s Deputy Mayor for Social Services and Health Care Sanna Vesikansa in a live broadcast on Tuesday, 9 June from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm to answer questions from the public. The Mayor's Question Time provided a forum for Helsinki residents to present questions brought on by the coronavirus and consider how the pandemic has transformed their daily lives and activities.
The broadcast was live-streamed on the Helsinki-kanava video service at helsinkikanava.fi. A recording of the broadcast is now available for viewing on this same site.
The 9 June Question Time replaced the Mayor’s Info scheduled for that day.
