Did you get an invitation to the Wellbeing Survey for the Helsinki Metropolitan Area?

In March 2021, the cities of Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen are jointly gathering knowledge about their residents’ living conditions, health and wellbeing. At the same time, ideas are collected about how those public services supporting people’s wellbeing could be further developed. In the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, a questionnaire was sent to around 25,000 twenty-year olds or older picked out at random from the Finnish Population Information System.

All respondents to the questionnaire represent the inhabitants of their own neighbourhoods. Answering the questions is a way of voicing the opinion of people in a life situation similar to your own. The knowledge that the questionnaire produces may, in future, be of much use to those making decisions on people’s wellbeing in Helsinki Metropolitan Area.

You can feel safe about answering the questionnaire. Responses will be handled in strict confidentiality, in compliance with the obligation of secrecy and data protection legislation. The survey seek to acquire knowledge about the whole population, not about individuals.Further reading:
