School lunch offered to all pupils in grades 1–9 at their own school this week

This week until 20 March, school lunch is offered to all 1–9 grade pupils in Helsinki. Pupils can come to their own school to eat lunch, regardless of whether they are studying from home or at the school.

Due to the situation, there may be changes and school-specific variations in the menus. Detailed information about the lunch hours and school lunches can be obtained from your own school or through Wilma.

A decision about the extent of Helsinki’s school catering in the upcoming weeks is made later. However, school catering will nonetheless be arranged for grade 1–3 pupils in contact instruction, whose parents work in so-called critical industries, and for children with a decision about special support.

At day-care centres, regular food services will be maintained, but the menus may be changed or vary between different day-care centres.
