The salary calculation of personnel of City of Helsinki’s departments and public enterprises is carried out by the Department of salary calculation of Financial Management Services (Talpa). Similarly, the department is in charge of the bonuses paid for elected officials and other parties receiving them as well as for disbursement of the pensions in accordance with the city’s old pension system. In addition to this, the department manages the disbursement of the allowance for informal care granted by the Department of Social Services and Health Care.
