Helsinki’s new City Museum

Helsinki’s new City Museum is due to open at the corner of the Senate Square in May 2016. The history of the city and its people will thus come to life in Helsinki’s oldest quarters.

The museum will have entrances on both Aleksanterinkatu and Katariinankatu. The delightful inner courtyards in the quarter will become part of the museum, which also encompasses the old Sederholm House with the Children’s Town exhibition.
