What is paediatric speech therapy?
Children and young people under 16 are examined and rehabilitated in children’s speech therapy, if they have or are suspected to have problems in the development of language skills or speech.
Speech therapy services are available in Finnish and Swedish.

How can the service be applied for?
Access to speech therapy requires a referral from a child health clinic or a school health care practitioner located in Helsinki. Clients are contacted when a referral is received.
