A 3-year-old is curious, tries out new things and tests boundaries. The child may easily become unhappy and get angry. Family, relatives and friends help the child cope with disappointments and failures. The child learns to see him or herself through the eyes of the people around him or her. This is why it is important that the child feels loved and accepted.
