What we do
The City Executive Office is the central administrative office of the City of Helsinki. Our goal is to make the City a place that offers its residents the best services and succeeds among ever-increasing competition. We are reforming the City according to our Strategy and in co-operation with our divisions. We work at the heart of Finnish urban development.
The City Executive Office is the general planning, preparation and implementation office for the City Council and City Board. The Executive Office consists of five departments: Economic Development, Administration, Financial and Planning Services, and Communications.

Our approximately 810 talented employees are making Helsinki the most functional city in the world through co-operation and networking. We employ various experts, project managers, designers, and controllers, among others.
