The salary of the heads of departments and heads of divisions of the city's departments and municipal enterprises is based on a total salary scheme.
Positions included in the total salary scheme are evaluated based on the Hay Guide Chart Profile Method of Job Evaluation, in which each position is rated based on three universal factors: accountability, know-how and problem solving. Based on the evaluation, each position is assigned to a difficulty class.
Each class has been provided with a specific salary scale. The employee's total salary can be reviewed within this salary scale based on a personal performance evaluation.
The total salary includes all salary components, such as bonuses paid on the basis of work performance and work experience, as well as a potential company car benefit.
Employees in managerial positions can also receive bonuses based on a performance bonus system and one-time bonuses.
