Ruoholahti Primary School is situated in the central city area nearby the sea. It was founded in 1996. The headmaster is Laila Nieminen and deputy headmaster Tanja Lax-Pyyny.
There are 330 pupils in grades 1 - 6 in the school year 2018-2019.
Our main goal is to maintain high educational standards and offer our pupils encouraging instruction and give them an opportunity to improve their learning skills.
Special education is provided as part-time instruction in mainstream classes. In the school there is also a special education class.
The staff and pupils are committed to take care of the good atmosphere, security and well-being as well as promote equality among pupils.
We cherish Finnish culture and value all the cultures our pupils represent.
