External emergency plans

An external emergency plan is a plan compiled by the Rescue Department in order to prevent disasters in areas defined in section 48 of the Rescue Act (379/2011) and in order to minimise damages.

The external emergency plan is a practically-oriented document guiding the operations, which prepares the area for a disaster risk. The external emergency plans are inspected annually and updated every three years. The disaster trainings related to the external emergency plans are organised at least every three years.
