Service Centre Helsinki follows the criteria laid out in the EcoCompass certificate guiding the management of environmental issues. EcoCompass ensures our commitment to constant improvement of the environmental side of our operations. The certificate covers all the Service Centre services and the approximately 600 units.

Constant improvement of environmental management and decreasing the environmental burden are part of the day-to-day work in Service Centre. We want to be a pioneer in the field and, therefore, environmental work has been carried out in a systematic manner already for ten years. We aim to integrate an environmental viewpoint into all operations and decision-making.

As a service provider, our role is to support the environmental work of our customers and other interest groups. Service Centre is part of the Helsinki City Group, and the city’s environmental policies also apply to us. For example, the city’s strategy programme, environmental policy and energy and climate agreements also set objectives for Service Centre.
